January 31, 2021. 4.7 mile loop on UNH Trail.
This is a popular hike so the trail was well packed snow; no need for snowshoes. I got there at noon which is late for a hike but benefited me because people were returning and leaving from the otherwise completely full parking lot. It’s always nice to be outside, especially in winter, but probably won’t repeat this one – too busy.
Pictures include Mount Passaconaway in the near distance and the lesser, rounded peak of Hedgehog Mountain.
