Blackened Salmon with Avocado Salsa – HFLC Keto

INGREDIENTI

FOR THE BLACKENED SALMON:
1 tablespoon oil
2 (4 ounce) pieces salmon
3 teaspoons cajun seasoning*

FOR THE AVOCADO SALSA:
2 avocado, diced
1/4 cup red onion, diced
1 jalapeno, finely diced
1 tablespoon cilantro, chopped
1 tablespoon lime juice
salt to taste

DIRECTIONS
FOR THE BLACKENED SALMON:
Spread olive oil on skin side of Salmon and rub with cajon seasoning. Turn salmon over and season well with cajon seasoning. Heat the oil in a heavy bottom skillet over medium-high heat, add the salmon skin side up and cook 3-5 minutes until deeply golden brown to slightly blackened before flipping and repeating for the other side.

FOR THE AVOCADO SALSA:
Mix everything and enjoy on the salmon!

*Cajon Seasoning:
3 teaspoons paprika
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoons garlic powder
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
