Mount Moriah – January 10, 2014

I’m tired this evening despite the relative ease of this 9 mile solo hike to Mount Moriah along the Carter Moriah Trail. The weather cooperated for an ideal winter hike: temps in the single digits but no wind; even at the peak. Clouds covered the big peaks in the distance but otherwise clear. I’m glad of the bench mark at the peak because my GPS was not correct in mileage, the peak location, the peak elevation.
