Mt Woodson – April 7, 2013

Herd path. Need I say more? Bob, Dom and I took the road less traveled to Mount Woodson peak from Lake Poway. Less traveled still means a human highway; just not as busy as the route from Hwy 67 which is shorter and paved. This was a relatively easy 8 mile hike though Bob did choose to turn around when it got steeper and the views were straight down. The peak is close for north county residents and I would certainly consider it for a good trail-run workout. Weekdays and very early might be quieter.
