Cuyamaca and Middle Peaks, March 18, 2013

It was a nice day for this 9 miles traverse hike with the Sierra Club hundred peaks section; sunny and cool. The peaks themselves are not memorable and I found Cuyamaca a little like visiting a junk yard with unsightly buildings, electric wires, utility poles, tipping potty – some no longer in obvious use but still standing, and, of course the ugly cell tower. Too bad modern life brings so much permanent human evidence to our otherwise gorgeous peaks.
