Ground Lamb Gyros

1/2 cup Minced onion
1 Clove garlic, minced (optional)
1/2 lb Ground lamb
2 tbl Lemon juice
1/2 tsp dried oregano
1/2 tsp dried Ground cumin
1/2 cup cucumber, diced
1/4 cup yogurt
1 tbl Fresh mint, chopped
1/2 cup Shredded lettuce
Diced tomato
Pita breads

Cook the meat in the onion and garlic. Add oregano, ground cumin and lemon juice and cook a couple additional minutes and put into small serving bowl. Combine diced cucumber and yogurt and put into small serving bowl. Combine chopped mint and diced tomato and put into small serving bowl. Warm pita breads. Halve pita breads, fill with portion of tomato/mint, cucumber/yogurt, and lamb mixture, shredded lettuce.
